Who is Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Tano is a Former Jedi Knight and Padawan learner to Anakin Skywalker. She is known for establishing rebel cells to fight against the Galactic Empire.

Jedi Master Plo Koon found Tano on Shili and brought her to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where she received her Jedi training. 

She grew to become a respected leader and a great warrior. Even after leaving the Jedi Order, Tano continued her fight to bring peace to the galaxy. 

Like every lightsaber wielder in the saga has a unique approach to using and fighting against the rebels, so does Ahsoka. She has a highly recognizable look and a fighting style. 

What Lightsaber Does Ahsoka Tano use?

Ahsoka Tano's lightsabers are a pair of single-bladed green sabers she wielded during the Clone Wars. Later, her blades were accompanied by a shoto lightsaber with a yellow blade. 

Initially, she wielded a green blade as a young Padawan. When she mastered the dueling skills, she wielded a shorter blade. She also got a new pair of lightsabers with white plasma blades.  

What was Special About Her Lightsaber?

Tano’s blade is as unique as herself. It is the only blade in Star Wars that can be separated into two different pieces. 

As Tano pursued Jar'Kai's fighting style, which involves wielding two lightsabers simultaneously, she needed two blades that she wielded in a non-standard reverse grip.
