Who is Taron Malicos?

Taron Malicos is a male Jedi Master who dedicated his service to the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic as a Jedi General throughout the Clone Wars. 

During the execution of Order 66, he faced an assault from his clone troopers. However, he skillfully evaded their clutches and sought refuge on the planet Dathomir, utilizing his starship. 

On Dathomir, he found himself in the presence of the Nightbrothers, under the leadership of Brother Viscus, and unfortunately, he was swiftly apprehended by them. Trapped in captivity, the influence of the dark side of the Force gradually consumed him and he turned towards the dark side. 

His Iconic words to Cal Kestis - "Restore the Jedi Order? Oh, you poor fool. It's over! Jedi fell long before the Purge. Stifled by tradition. Deafened by our past glories. Blinded by endless war",  will always be remembered in the Star Wars canon.

Lightsaber Wielded by Taron Malicos

Taron Malicos wields a Magus model hilted lightsaber with two red blades, which he utilized during his confrontation with Cal Kestis on Dathomir.

Taron used a special fighting style called Jar'Kai, as seen in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. This fighting style calls for the use of two lightsabers but Malicos only uses one double-bladed blade throughout the entire game.

This double-bladed lightsaber rotates quickly during battle, encircling Malicos in a lethal ring of light. The lightsaber's fractured kyber crystal, which emits an erratic, flickering red glow, suggests it is a corrupted version of a classic Jedi weapon.
