The trailer wasn’t the only thing Disney released on Star Wars Day. The official poster for The Acolyte was released as well & it looks pretty cool.

The assassin Mae, Master Sol, Master Indara, Wookiee Master Kelnacca, Master Vernestra Rwoh, and the rest of the Jedi Order in their heyday are among the people we'll encounter in the poster.

Showrunner Leslye Headland, the mind behind Netflix’s Russian Doll, recently said, “I’ll just say that they're my favorite character.”

The statement was followed by, “I hope audiences embrace the duality that exists in every character in the show.” She added, “The show is an onion. Each episode peels away to reveal something else. I hope the experience of watching it is both suspenseful and satisfying.”

The cast members are Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-Jae, Joonas Suotamo, Charlie Barnett, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

The Acolyte is a segment of the beloved Saga. It takes place before the events of the prominent films in the High Republic era and follows a Jedi's investigation into a string of crimes. It takes place around a century before Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, during the Saga's close of the High Republic period.
